VAT-Scan is designed so the validator works without sending VAT numbers to a server.

Client-side processing

VAT numbers entered into the validator are processed locally in your browser.
VAT-Scan does not operate a validation API and does not receive validator inputs.
No account creation is required.

Public pages may load Google AdSense scripts after site approval. This section describes third-party advertising disclosures required for AdSense.

Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
